Cisa Trading

Being a major supplier of raw materials and products for all productive sectors, from agriculture to aerospace, the chemical industry performs an important role in the world economy. In Brazil, the chemical sector is the second greatest contributor to industrial GDP.

Since this is one of the hottest fields in the Brazilian market today, Cisa Trading has assembled the necessary expertise to offer a major alternative for organizing and managing all steps for importing chemical products.

Cisa Trading’s scope includes inbound and outbound logistics activities, customs clearance, warehousing, handling in primary and secondary zones, contacts with exporters for correct issuance of document and documentation analysis, in addition to interpretation and advice about tax, customs and regulatory legislation.

Cisa centrally coordinates all the operational relations with the key regulatory bodies (Federal Revenue, ANVISA, Ministry of Agriculture and Supply, ANP, DECEX, Ministry of Science and Technology, Brazilian Army and Federal Police) in order to ensure meeting the requirements of licensing, inspection, good practices and traceability.

Providing high-quality product handling, storage and transport as well as excellent security is a top priority of Cisa Trading.

The contracting of local and international hauling and logistics service providers is preceded by rigorous verification, to assure the quality of the supply chain according to GMP guidelines and principles.

Monitoring the unloading from cargo planes and removal is done by experienced and trained professionals, ensuring the necessary speed to maintain each product’s original properties.

Storage operations comply with all legislation, observing safety documents such as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) and FISPQ (Chemicals Safety Data Sheets), in order to ensure the safety and integrity of each product in accordance with its characteristics.

Cisa Trading has built up unique know-how in managing the logistics chain of dangerous chemicals, adopting preventive procedures in accordance with the risk number (UN classification), class and subclass, developing partnerships with specialized service providers. This ensures meeting national and international standards, in addition to the use of signs during transport, package labeling, development and use of emergency envelopes and sheets, all under the guidance of a chemical engineer.

The complexity of this sector, together with the stringent demands of our customer base, has prompted us to develop a service organization specialized in all import procedures for the chemical industry, which qualifies us as the partner of choice for the main companies of the sector.
