Cisa Trading

Machinery and Equipment

Since the 1990s, after the greater opening of the Brazilian economy to imports, the capital goods market has had huge impact with the access to new technologies. The evolution of productive processes and services has brought about the need to invest in machinery and equipment for various industries in order to meet the demands of a globalized world.

Cisa Trading’s scope includes inbound and outbound logistics activities, documentation analysis, customs clearance, warehousing and handling in primary, secondary and general storage zones.

Cisa centrally coordinates all the operational relations with the key regulatory bodies (Federal Revenue, DECEX, Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade) and carries out all the requirements of licensing, inspection, storage and handling and product traceability along the whole supply chain.

Moreover, it also advises customers about tax, customs and regulatory legislation and offers financing solutions, in accordance with the needs of each value chain.

Providing high-quality product handling, warehousing and transport as well as excellent security is a top priority of Cisa Trading.

The contracting of local and international hauling and logistics service providers is preceded by rigorous verification, to assure the quality of the supply chain according to GMP guidelines and principles.

Monitoring the unloading from cargo planes and removal is done by experienced and trained professionals, ensuring the necessary speed to maintain each product’s original properties.

We have a unique and specialized team at the ports, operating and following up the unloading of goods, with experience in handling outsize and heavy cargo.

Equipment is stored in specific areas and undergoes rigorous inspection in order to detect flaws and damages. Inspections generate detailed reports on the products’ conditions, which can be accessed by all interested parties.

Cisa Trading has built up unique know-how in managing machinery and equipment imports for turnkey and large-volume projects, and is qualified to conduct logistics studies in order to meet the needs of each operation.

The development of partnerships with financial institutions enables specific financing solutions for each customer’s needs.

Cisa has extensive experience in administration of large expansion, modernization and construction of manufacturing facilities and infrastructure works, in addition to importation of aircraft, industrial equipment, cargo handling equipment, machinery for forestry, farming and ranching, civil construction and power generation.

Conducting tax studies, obtaining "ex-tarifários" (government tariff exemption program) and support to obtain authorization for the import of used goods are other competitive advantages we offer.

The complexity of this sector, together with the stringent demands of our customers, has prompted us to develop a service organization specialized in all import procedures for the machinery and equipment segment, which qualifies us as the partner of choice for the most important product and service companies in Brazil.
